Fun for the Whole Family at This Weekend’s Parker Days Festival

Summertime officially starts in Parker this weekend – with the annual Parker Days Festival. It’s a weekend of fun that you simply don’t want to miss.

You can head to downtown Parker starting at 5 p.m. today, Friday, June 13, 2014, through 10 p.m. Sunday, June 15, 2014, to start the season of right with all sorts of excitement and entertainment for the entire family.

parker days - smallerHighlights include a carnival packed full of fun rides, a Saturday morning parade and Strongman Competition, live music on three different stages, more than 250 booths and vendors, buskers and performers, lots of food and drink vendors (including a beer garden), a craft corner in O’Brien Park, face painting, petting zoo and Zip Line and Bounce House. There’s something for everyone!

The three-day event even offers a different kind of fun for Dad this Father’s Day, with a Pancake Breakfast at 8 a.m., a 5K family fun run at 9 a.m., a car show from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m, and a BBQ grill giveaway contest between the fabulous entertainment offered on Main Stage.

If that’s not enough to get you to downtown Parker this weekend, let me share with you some of the free entertainment that you’ll find on the just the Main Stage. Remember, there are three different concert stages, so this is just a selection of the fabulous artists who will be in Parker this weekend.

Fallen – 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Tunisia – 9:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Saturday

Five 13 – noon to 1 p.m.

Boogie Machine – 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Buckstein – 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Eclipse – 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Soul X – 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

KYGO Presents: Kristy Lee Cook – 9:45 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Sunday

Bluzinators – noon to 1:30 p.m.

Phat Daddy – 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Chris Daniels & The Kings – 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Hazel Miller – 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
