There are many advantages to having a facility like the Parker Arts, Culture & Events (PACE) Center in the same town where you live. For one, you don’t have to leave Parker to see some of the fantastic shows and performances that are scheduled over the holiday season.
The PACE Center, 20000 Pikes Peak Ave., has a huge variety of holiday entertainment from which to choose, including:
“Dave Villano’s Christmas Magic” at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 29. Villano, a Denver native who has created his own style of spiritual music, will perform a selection of traditional, Celtic and contemporary holiday songs.

“The Nutcracker, Clara’s Dream” a dance recital presented by Parker Arts and On Pointe School of Dance, at 7 p.m. Dec. 2. This twist on a holiday favorite will feature all student dancers from 3 years old to 18 year olds who will dance with Clara from her holiday party into The Land of Sweets.
“A Classic Parker Holiday,” presented by the Parker Chorale and Parker Symphony Orchestra, at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 5 & 6. This hometown performance will feature a delightful selection of season favorites.
“The Snow Queen,” presented by the Parker Youth Ballet at the Mainstreet Center at 2:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. Dec. 6 & 7. This annual, one-hour production will include snowmen, reindeer, dancing trolls and a visit from Santa Claus himself. Please note, this show is at the Mainstreet Center.
“A Christmas Carol,” presented by Parker Arts and co-produced with Inspire Creative, will be the featured holiday entertainment Dec. 11-14. Based on the classic tale by Charles Dickens, this exciting new production will unveil the greatest gift of all when Scrooge finally sees his life clearly enough to transform selfish greed into generous love.
“The Nutcracker of Parker” will wrap up the holiday season at the Pace Center with the Colorado School of Dance’s 11th annual magical production of Tchaikovsky’s holiday classic Dec. 18-21.
