Wanted: Great Parker Colorado Photographs!

Are you an amateur photographer or photo enthusiast?  If yes, the Town of Parker would love for you to share your fantastic photographs for a chance to be featured in its 2016 Calendar Photo Contest.

What they’re looking for are “striking images that depict life in Parker.” That could be a photograph of the area’s natural landscapes, wildlife, events, facilities, businesses, architecture or weather. They’ll also seeking photos of people living, working, shopping and/or playing in Parker.

With the leaves changing and Fall in the air, the next few weeks are perfect to capture some of Parker’s beauty. Contest entries will be accepted through Friday, Oct. 23, 2015.

If you submit the best of the best, your photos will appear in the Parker’s 2016 Calendar and Annual Report that will be published this December. What an honor to be showcased in their annual publication!

Rules and guidelines:

* You may enter up to five photos portraying life in Parker.

* Photos must be taken within the 80134 or 80138 zip codes.

* Horizontal digital images are preferred. Please send photos with the highest resolution possible—preferably 300 dpi.

* Photos with date stamps, caption text or watermarks will not be considered.

* Submissions must be made by individuals who are at least 18 years of age. Youth who would like to participate should have a parent or guardian submit entries on their behalf.

* You do not need to reside in the Town of Parker limits to participate.

* Submit entries at www.ParkerOnline.org/CalendarContest.
