From the rural suburbs of Ohio and armed with a sense of wonder, James found an early talent for creativity, imagination, and connecting with people. After moving to Colorado when he was 11, James would learn that the state agreed with his energetic spirit! By 24 he was using those early skills in his roles as a manager and leader, encouraging those around him to find ways to make their businesses and relationships better. 

James received a B.A. from The University of Northern Colorado in 2001. Soon after his graduation, he traveled across the country, to the stretch of islands of the Outer Banks of North Carolina. It was here where he would reignite his talent for making personal connections with people. Seeing the benefits of a different culture, learning new life lessons, all the while growing into a leader, transformed James into an empathetic, trusting, and ethical individual. 

In 2004 James was offered to take on a management role at one of Colorado’s own sporting goods stores, Gart Brothers, in the historical mountain town of Glenwood Springs, CO. So, he returned to the bicentennial state to expand on his leadership skills, passion for team-building, and decided to pick up snowboarding as well! In 2018 the call to help people on a one-on-one basis started to overtake his sense of leadership. During this time of reflection James left the retail world and moved to Parker, CO to work in the banking industry. In his new role he was able to help people working to accomplish their long-term financial goals, while building a new life of his own.

Over several years in finance, one topic of focus and a source of success kept crossing James’ path: Real Estate. The more he heard from his clients and in his own circles, the more James became interested in real estate. In 2023 James was brought on to the team as the Director of Operations for Osgood Team real estate where he works closely with agents, clients, and ventures out into the community to capture the people of Parker, CO whom the Osgood Team loves so dearly.
