Homebuyers can often become frustrated when a copy of the floor plan isn’t available for a home they are interested in purchasing. But now there’s an app for that.
In our continuing series featuring useful apps, let’s look at Magic Plan, an app that lets you create your own 3D floor plans with your iPhone or iPad.
Here’s how it works. You use the camera of your device. And while turning around, you mark the corners of your space. When you are finished, Magic Plan aggregates a floor plan.
It’ll probably take a little trial and error. But the makers of this app promise that with a little practice, you’ll be able to capture the room in a few minutes – and have fun at the same time. Plus, you’ll have something to look at later- after you visited a bunch of houses and are trying to make a decision on which one to purchase.

Another app that will help in your decision making process is called CrimeReports mobile version.
