National Doughnut Day

Date When Celebrated : Always the first Friday in June

Did you know doughnut or donut day was made in honor of the Salvation Army “Lassies” from WWI. The “lassies” (the only women outside of military personnel to go to the front lines) were sent to the front lines in Europe with home made cooked foods to boost morale of the troops. The doughnuts were cooked in oil inside the metal helmets of the American soldiers.

In honor of this National holiday you will probably see one of the Osgood Team agents at one of Parker’s local doughnut shops! Our favorites are Walton’s Donuts, The Donut House or Lora’s Donuts and Bakery Shop!

We may be enjoying a small snack, but we’re never too busy for your referrals!
