Realtor Group Holds Second Annual Diamond Circle Awards Celebration
April 4th at Hyatt Regency DTC
DENVER, Colo. – April 5, 2014 – Leanne Osgood, a leading REALTOR with Osgood Team, RMREA of Parker, Colorado, has been recognized by the South Metro Denver REALTOR® Association (SMDRA) as a 2013 Diamond Circle Club Member. SMDRA held its second annual Diamond Circle Awards celebration on Friday, April 4, 2014 at the Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center.
Diamond Circle Club recipients for 2013 must meet the minimum requirement of $3 million in total sales volume or 20 real estate transactions to qualify for the prestigious 2013 Diamond Club Member recognition. SMDRA is a non-profit trade association that provides real estate professionals with the resources they need to help them grow and prosper in the highly competitive real estate business.
“We are pleased to recognize Leanne as a Diamond Circle Club Member for 2013,” said Dale Carroll, 2014 President of SMDRA. “She has demonstrated a sincere dedication to the real estate business, old-fashioned hard work, and superior customer service to achieve success regardless of market conditions. A real estate agent is a Realtor when he or she is a member of the local, state, and National Association of Realtors, NAR, The Voice for Real Estate and the world’s largest professional association. The term “Realtor” is a registered collective membership mark that identifies a real estate professional who is a member of the NAR and subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics and they hold themselves to a higher standard of business from other licensed agents in the real estate industry. Only real estate licensees who are members of the Realtor Association are properly called Realtors.
Master of Ceremonies for the Diamond Circle Awards was Reggie Rivers, a former NFL running back who played six seasons with the Denver Broncos during the 1990s. Reggie is a media personality and business owner, who has worked in newspaper, radio and television in Denver. He graduated from Texas State University with a degree in Journalism, and he earned a Master’s Degree in Global Studies from the University of Denver. He has written five books, the latest is the award winning novel, “The Colony: A Political Tale”.
Odell Stroud, a professional singer and musician at Hipster Mama Productions, sang the National Anthem at the awards ceremony and also entertained during the evening dinner. Odell, a spokesperson for Rocky’s Auto (Officer Odell from the TV commercials), is a former Technical Support Specialist at the University of Colorado Hospital and Service Specialist at The Children’s Hospital.
