Spiced Wine ~ Smores ~ Fire Pit
We will be hanging out in our breezeway next to the Parker Chamber of Commerce pouring Mulled Wine and celebrating the upcoming Christmas season! There will also be a fire pit with smores for everyone. And it might be a little chilly….but don’t worry, we’ll have heaters to keep you toasty warm!
Mulled Wine (our recipe for this event)
Ingredients:
1 bottle of red wine
1/4 cup honey
1/2 tsp allspice (or to taste)
1/4 tsp nutmeg (or to taste)
1/4 tsp ginger (or to taste)
8-10 whole cloves
2-4 cinnamon sticks
2-4 star anise
1/4 cup brandy
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a simmer (do not boil). Reduce to medium low, and let simmer for at least 30 minutes or up to 3 hours.
**This can also easily be done in a crockpot and left to simmer. Use ladle for easy pouring**
