In the realm of impactful initiatives, Treasure House of Hope stands out as a beacon for individuals facing homelessness, addiction, domestic violence, human trafficking, and despair. Their one-year, Christ-centered discipleship program is a transformative journey designed to guide participants towards a renewed life.

Treasure House of Hope operates as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, providing a Christ-centered discipleship program for those in desperate need of change. Their mission is to help individuals suffering from substance abuse, violence, and mental health issues by housing and training them for a year, all at no cost. The focus is on instilling sound decision-making based on biblical principles, leading to a changed life and, ultimately, family restoration.

Treasure House of Hope provides a loving and safe home for both men and women

To participate in the program, individuals must meet certain criteria, including presenting a negative Covid-19 test, being 18 years or older, committing to a one-year program, and possessing the physical and mental capacity for a rigorous daily schedule. Various other requirements, such as disclosure of medical conditions, adherence to house rules, and a 30-day blackout period for outside contact, ensure a structured and focused environment for participants.

Treasure House of Hope provides a loving and safe home for both men and women. The homes, situated in different locations, offer a dormitory-style living arrangement supervised by staff and volunteers. Drug and alcohol counselors are available around the clock, emphasizing a supportive environment. Participants are engaged in daily responsibilities, including chores, fostering a sense of community and responsibility.

The program’s activities are schedule-driven, encompassing life skill classes, drug and alcohol counseling, support groups, bible teachings, and worship services. Notably, the Bread Ministry provides participants with opportunities for community outreach, customer service, and evangelism. Outreach and Impact: Treasure House of Hope believes in the power of outreach to impact the community positively. In 2022, their Bread Ministry reached over 23,431 people, showcasing their love and commitment to God, as well as the teachings in the Bible. Three participants successfully graduated from the one-year program, leading to the restoration of numerous families. The organization collaborates with various entities, including companies, governments, and nonprofits, pooling resources and ideas to address community challenges.

A highlight of their community involvement is the weekly baking of 500-600 loaves of bread, and even twice as much for special events! They offer flavors like banana, pumpkin, zucchini, and peach. Want to add chocolate chips or nuts to that, no problem! This project, hosted at Mile High Commissary in Aurora, welcomes volunteers aged 16 and above. The organization encourages participation and support from the community, fostering a sense of collective responsibility.

Support and Donations. Treasure House of Hope relies on the generosity of individuals and organizations to sustain their mission. They accept both financial and gas donations, emphasizing the importance of love, hope, and compassion in pulling treasures out of darkness.
