If you’re looking for an entertainingly good time in Parker, you’ll want to head to Deep Space Theatre in downtown on either April 10 or May 1, 2015 for Comedy Night.

The shows are put on by Parker’s Pam Terpenny and “a bunch of goofs,” whose goal is to make you forget about the stress of your life and lighten your mood. From 7 to 8:30 p.m., they’ll have you laughing at their improv, stand-up comedy, videos and other hilarious antics.

But you’ll want to get to the theatre at 11020 S. Pikes Peak Drive by 6:30 p.m. to get settled in. You’re encouraged to bring your own dinner that you can enjoy before the hilarity begins. Deep Space will have water and soda available for purchase.

You’re also encouraged to reserve a whole table and make a night of it! Tables for two are $20, but tables for eight are only $50. So it pays to round up your friends!

After laughing my way through the March 13 performance, I highly recommend the show. The comedians are great!  They come from local improv groups or are experienced in doing stand-up routines. They WILL make you laugh.

It’s probably rated PG-13, so you don’t want to take your young kids with you. The comedians do their best to keep it clean and funny, but there’s also audience participation, so you never know what’s going to happen.

As Pam puts it:  “If you’re old enough to drive yourself here, I think you’ll be fine.”

There are a limited number of tables available, so you’ll want to reserve your spot. To do that, just visit deepspace.me/reboot.
